Bill Heye
Chief Executive Officer

Bill Heye brings over 15 years of sales, marketing and general management experience to BackWeb. Heye joined BackWeb Technologies in 1996 as Director of Product Management. Since then he has served as Director of R&D, VP of Product Management, VP of European Sales and VP Business Development before becoming CEO in 2005. Prior to joining BackWeb, Heye was with The Voyager Company and with IBM. At Voyager, a publisher of interactive media, he was Director of Marketing & Sales, responsible for the distribution of the company's innovative video, CD-ROM and electronic book products through retail, OEM and online channels. At IBM, he held various technical and sales positions in the field and worked with large manufacturing customers in the United States and Japan. Heye holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in English from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tomer Assis
VP Finance

As VP of Finance, Tomer has responsibility for all Finance, Accounting and Taxation for the company's operations in the United States, Israel and Europe. Additionally, he serves as Site Manager for the Israeli office and is very involved in the company's significant transactions.

Tomer joined to BackWeb Technologies in February 2008 and has over 10 years of International finance management experience. Prior to joining BackWeb, Tomer served as Director of Finance at CellNet Solutions Ltd., and Internationl Controller for Check Point Technologies Ltd. Tomer also served as Controller of the Israeli subsidiaries at M+W Zander Group and worked with the accounting firms, Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton in Israel.

Tomer is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and holds a B.A. in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from The College of Management in Israel.

Iftah Sneh
Co-Founder and CTO

As the Chief Technology Officer, Iftah Sneh is responsible for defining the product direction and strategy based on demand from customers and partners, current trends in the market and new emerging technologies.

Mr. Sneh co-founded BackWeb Technologies Ltd. in 1995 and was one of the leading forces in the company ever since. Throughout the years, Mr. Sneh served in different capacities in the company including Chief Architect and R&D Manager. He was instrumental in defining and developing all the products in the BackWeb product line and in bringing these products to market.

Prior to BackWeb, Mr. Sneh was a lead engineer in Algotec Systems Ltd. where he developed software for advanced medical imaging applications including image processing and image management.

Sneh holds a B.Sc. degree (Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
